About the University
TSU named after G.R. Derzhavin offers a wide range of educational programs at any academic level with a high level of quality at an affordable price. Derzhavinsky is an internationally oriented university. The training is conducted by highly professional teachers in Russian, English, and French. According to the global RUR ranking, our university entered the top 20 among Russian universities in terms of international activities in 2025. It has high-tech scientific centers and laboratories, developed infrastructure and excellent material and technical base. The university is located in the central part of Russia, the city of Tambov near the city of Moscow (460 km). Educational Theater
The Educational Theater is a creative laboratory of Tambov State University named after G. R. Derzhavin. It is one of the largest stage venues in the city for large-scale events, concerts, holidays, including graduation evenings for foreign students.
fundamental library
The Fundamental Library is not only the largest library in the region but also an important socio-cultural center, possessing both internal and external electronic resources with the possibility of online access to a million and a half scientific and educational literature.
simulation center
The Accreditation and Simulation Center of TSU is engaged in training students and staff of the University using simulation technologies. The center is equipped with mannequins, simulators, and high-class realistic robots for practicing practical skills of medical students.
"Doctor Pro"
The University has a multidisciplinary clinical center "Doctor Profi," which provides a full range of medical services, qualified preventive, therapeutic-diagnostic, consultative, and rehabilitative medical assistance, and serves as a clinical base for students.
Scientific laboratories and centers
The University has more than 40 scientific centers and laboratories with modern equipment, including: the laboratory of organic synthesis and high-molecular compounds, the scientific center of the Russian Academy of Education, the Scientific and Educational Laboratory of University Television, and many others.
Base of rest "Galdym"
The university recreation base "Galdym" is located in a picturesque place in a pine forest on the bank of a river 60 km from Tambov. Students, teachers, and university staff rest at the base, university events and specialized shifts for students are held, and official guests of TSU stay.
