About the training program
The educational program "General Geography" is an academic preparation focused on the comprehensive study of the Earth's geographical shell, its natural, anthropogenic, and socio-economic systems. Students study a wide range of disciplines—from mineralogy, climatology, hydrology, and landscape science to geourbanism, political geography, and geoinformatics—which allows for the formation of a holistic understanding of the spatial organization of the world. The basis of training is a practice-oriented approach, including educational and production practices. The program prepares specialists of a universal profile, capable of solving a wide range of tasks.
