05.03.03 Cartography and Geoinformatics. The direction (profile) "Geoinformatics" is a bachelor's program focused on the creation, modeling, and analysis of spatial data using GIS, satellite imagery, and digital terrain models. Students master geoinformation technologies, mapping, working with UAVs, 3D modeling, and navigation systems.
What do graduates do?
Graduates are in demand in geodetic firms, IT companies (creation of navigators), design institutes, government services (cadastre, Rosreestr, Ministry of Natural Resources) and the oil and gas industry and environmental protection organizations. Professions: Cartographer-map developer. GIS specialist (geoinformatics). Aerial photography specialist (UAV). Surveyor/Topographer. Cadastre and Land Management Specialist. Geomarketer.
